From the M5 at Exeter, take the A30 bypassing Okehampton and Launceston. Ignore the signs for the A395 to North Cornwall, Wadebridge and Camelford and continue on the A30 until the exit at Bodmin. Drive through Bodmin following the signs for Wadebridge (A389). Bypass Wadebridge following the signs for Padstow/Truro/Newquay. After crossing the River Camel, continue for three miles (passing the Royal Cornwall Showground on the left) and turn right on the A389 to Padstow. After 1/4 mile take the first left hand turning signposted to Hawksland. Follow the lane round two sharp bends and Hawksland Mill will be found on the right clearly indicated by a large name board. Go through the gateway, turn sharp left and park facing the low wall and the trees.
It may help you to know that there is an excellent supermarket near your route, approximately two miles from Hawksland Mill. After crossing the River Camel, turn left at the top of the hill at the BP petrol station (signposted to Wadebridge Town Centre) and ‘Tesco’ is situated approximately 1/5 mile on the right.
